The law changed. Your clients hear it from you.
When a bill your client cares about passes, is signed or takes effect, LawSignals drafts an email to that client in your name. You read it, approve it, and it goes out.

A reason to call every client, every time the law moves
- 1
Add your clients
Industry, states, the Trackers that matter to them, a line on what they care about.
- 2
The law moves
A bill passes, is signed or is about to take effect. We work out which clients it affects.
- 3
A draft waits for you
One email per affected client, in your voice. One morning email tells you they are ready.
- 4
You approve and send
Edit anything, or dismiss it. Nothing reaches a client until you press approve.
What triggers a draft
- A bill passes a chamber
- A bill passes the legislature or goes to the governor
- A bill is signed into law
- A law takes effect within 30 days
- A federal final rule is published or takes effect
Only for clients whose states and Trackers match, and only when the bill plausibly affects their business.
What each email says
- What changed
- Two or three plain sentences from the bill record.
- Why it matters to this client
- Tied to their business, not a generic summary.
- The effective date
- When the record gives one.
- The bill and its source
- Bill number with a link to the legislature’s own page.
- A next step
- A short offer to talk, and your signature.

Does anything go to a client without me?
No. Every email is a draft until you approve it. You can edit the subject and text, approve one, approve all the drafts on one bill, or dismiss them.
Who is the email from?
From you. It shows your name, carries your signature, and replies go to your inbox. On Practice Group it can send from your firm’s own domain.
Is each email reviewed by an attorney?
You are the reviewer. Drafts are written by software from the bill record, and the tracker scopes behind them are model-drafted, not attorney-reviewed. That is why nothing sends without your approval.
What should I enter about a client?
Business facts only: what they do, where they operate and what they care about. No confidential matter details. Contact emails and notes are stored encrypted.
What does not trigger an alert?
Introductions, committee referrals, hearings and minor amendments. A client hears from you when something they would act on has happened.
