A curated tracker for a practice area and its monthly issue: a written document covering what moved that month, one line on each bill that advanced, what was enacted, and the federal rulemaking that came with it. Between issues you get the same bills in the app, ranked the same way, and alerts when something clears a real hurdle.

Seasonality. Thirty-six of the fifty states adjourn by the end of June and four hold no regular session at all in even years, so a monthly subscriber reaches their renewal decision in the quietest part of the legislative calendar. The annual price is 20% lower, which is meant to be the reason to buy the year rather than a token discount.

The autumn issues are built from different material: session-end enacted roundups, effective dates landing on 1 January, prefiled bills for the next session, and special sessions, which are unscheduled and fast and invisible to anything framed around what moved this month.

Each tracker has a written topic profile describing the duties and mechanisms in scope, and every bill in the corpus is scored against it. The profiles are drafted by a model and validated by retrieval measurement against a judged set of bills. They are not reviewed by an attorney, and nothing in the product should be read as if they were.

Federal rulemaking, through Regulatory Watch, which reads the Federal Register and leads with open comment deadlines. State administrative codes are outside the product permanently and are not on the roadmap.
